Poem 1:

Drop some fucking bombs.

Pay attention to the alarms.

Overuse the same old shit.

Make sure that shit hits.

Sleepy time is up ahead.

The island is my bed.

The wait is long but safe.

Disregarding everything that it will take.

And for those who give a fuck

Underuse your last bit of luck.

Keep yourself from harm’s way

and find out how scared you will stay.

Or don't listen directly

Try to protect me.

Read my draft and decode

This is the only way I know how to upload.

Show coming up at Programme Skate Shop in Fullerton.

Also, we’re heading up north to record with the legendary Jack Shirly at Atomic Gardens. We are very excited to bring something new next year. However, before we end the year, we have one more show percolating. Sharing the stage with our good friends Children and upcoming band XIN XIN, we will be playing at the Rooftop Venue of the Fox Theatre in Pomona. The flyer for this show will be up soon.

See you soon.

First off, thank you to all of our friends, new friends, and family that came out to O’Donovan’s last weekend. We had the best time. Shout out to Wires for killing it !

Our next show is on Saturday, September 29 at The Offbeat Bar in Highland Park. One perk about this show is that we all live across the street and want to hang out, so come by and chill with us.

Furthermore, we’re working on some new tracks, so stay tuned.

Months have passed and the partial monotony and exhilaration have been fused together to create a unique ambivalence the keeps one at the edge of your seat. The album is well on its way. We still have a couple of recording sessions in the future, but there is no definite date yet. Last week we finished session number 6, where we had to try a new approach. Andrew, our engineer at Golden Beat Studios has been a sweet angel. He great humor, sincere patiences, and musical precision has made this experience much better. We will keep you updated, but for now here are some studio pics on the photo tab

Second Recoding Session @ Golden Beat Studios was amazing. We are 1/8 of the way done. It was very exciting to experiment throughout this session. The approach was different than what we are used to, but that made it more exciting. The challenge is the best part.

The last couple of six months have been very interesting for the most part. From writing and collaborating with some peeps to experiencing new elements of sound on a personal level. It has all been fun. We're glad to announce that we will be entering our second recording session on Thursday, November 17, 2016 with our friend Andrew. He's been nothing but amazing. True honor to work with him. There will be some more updates on music / record in the future, but as for now I leave it as is.....

On another note, this year has been fucking weird due to the current election. It has been a REAL nightmare and a fucking joke to watch the antithesis of all that is good become president. I encourage everyone to rage against this fucking system and make sure your voice is heard. Please organize in your community and create a dialogue with others to be aware of what the American Political System wants to do in the future. WE CANNOT LET THEM DO THIS! So SMASH BIGOTRY TO THE GROUND and make sure you protest with all of us.

Right now it is 11:34pm, and I'm letting my stream of consciousness leak out as I think of where we've been these last couple of months. Since our last blog post, we have written several songs, discovered new sides to ourselves as individuals, have had a lot of positive and negative experiences, and have even had a new addition to the band that is no longer with us.

The details are irrelevant, but I'm pretty sure you understand this ambiguous feeling.

The album is on its way, but no where near being done. The work that has been put into this has definitely challenged every part of us. Personally, I have even seen a change in my daily life outside of music. It's a good fuel for inspiration.

The beautiful part of this learning experience is that we have been working with some new people and their innovative ideas. From the smashing piano to the hard hitting beat, all of the new sound is great to be around.

NOTHING BUT LOVE FOR YOU... they know who you are.

Another great part is allowing oneself to rediscover music. This is my favorite part of this process because there is so much good music out there and so much talent that needs to be appreciated.

As of now, we just recorded three songs, which are not mixed nor mastered. They are in the works.

Everything is on its way, but will only come when the time is right.

For now, keep an ear out, support your LOCAL MUSIC SCENE, and stay in touch.

We'll see you soon.

January 11, 2016

We're finally in 2016, and yet, it doesn't feel like it. We had our first show this year last Thursday, January 7th at All Star Lanes Bowling Alley in Eagle Rock with Sophie, Smiling Beth, and WIRES. The show was amazing! All the bands kicked ass and everyone seemed to be having a ball. So what now?

First off, we got a new member to the Dharma family, Adam Corey Thomas. He his our fourth and we're excited to have him.

Secondly, we have decided not to play any show for the time being because we will be entering a rigorous writing process that requires our full attention. I will say that we have already begun writing and so far it feels good. We'll keep you updated with news throughout this experience, but for now I will have hush up.

Lastly, we are also trying to earn some money to fund these projects, so if you would like to help us out by making a donation and purchasing some merch, we would really appreciate it. You can purchase "A seed to come" on bandcamp for $5 and merch can be bought either on this website or on big cartel. Thank you

Cold in L.A.

With the weather being abnormal because its not HOT anymore and getting use to the holidays, which I find to be hard, I am starting to sense a weariness in the air. Not good, nor bad, just odd. I also find myself in a place of reflection and I am having trouble finding the words that fit this situation or a person that would understand or give me motivation to speak of it.

So this is what it reminds me of...

I had a dream where I was standing in the middle of a tunnel, and I could not see the end. At the end there was this bright light cascading over the darkness, which illuminated a path for me. It gave me the incentive to start running towards the light, so I could capture it. This felt like my purpose.  I don't remember well, but I know I wasn't scared or nervous. I was rather excited and thrilled that I was aiming for something. It gave me a sense of relief and hope, which made me feel happy. It was as if I knew that I had to be somewhere at a specific time, and it was my duty. Simultaneously, the feeling of being wanted and needed was manifesting as I ran for what felt like hours. Suddenly, I stopped. Quickly, the blackness swallowed me whole and the light dissipated into the center of my view. I was wrapped around the hollow, but comforting air. Eventually, I couldn't even see my own hands, and it was perfect. I floated for a while without any contempt or understanding of conviction, which made it easy to give myself away. I couldn't make up my physical appearance because the verisimilitude of my surrounding was all I needed to know of the physical. There was no reason to chase the light anymore because I was there with the light. What felt like minutes was actually a full cycle of sleep.  I woke up in a eerie mood the next morning, for I knew that this physical place was strange....

Back and forth, In and out.

The abyss remain as a crowd.

Turn back time to see the waste.

Planting the seeds that grow with haste.

Then lay still as it all begins.

                                                   Becoming perfect attached with sins.

                                                                      Safety first.
